My journey began with a passion for politics and wanting to 'save the world' by telling stories that matter. This lead to an Honours Arts Degree at York University (Toronto) where I majored in Political Science, followed by a Broadcast Journalism Diploma at Seneca @ York. It wasn't long after interning at a news station that I realised my passion was in film production, where the creative possibilities were endless. My next internship at Aux TV really solidified this , where I was quickly researching and producing exciting segments across the country.
This led me to full-time work at post-production houses in Toronto working alongside major international agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, Publicis, BBDO and Cossette to name a few; To Dubai where I produced 'The Flex' (MTV Unplugged style show) for Fox Arabia; and eventually London where I was post-producer at one the leading animation studios in the city Darkside Studios, and later was approached to produce for the first ever in-house production company at Iris Worldwide London where I created weekly branded content for brands like Adidas , Samsung, Mini and Shell.
While working full time in the advertising world, I always made sure to find time for my 'passion projects' - creating innovative short films, music videos, and documentaries. Allowing me to continue to learn and grow by collaborating with fellow creatives and artists who inspire me both locally and internationally.
Recently I co-produced my biggest music video yet for XL Recording London, UK artist Sampha's "Blood On Me". This inspired me to pursue a freelance career where I can have the ability and time to work on a diverse range of creative projects and branded content.
